ANDAIME
is a festival that aims to temporarily build a cultural base in Viana do Castelo. It has its focus on the former 1º de Maio Shopping Centre, a building located in the heart of the city that has been falling into oblivion, and it aims to dynamize this space for 3 months through an artistic residence. Simultaneously, from May to July, it offers a cultural program with concerts, performances, conversations, exhibitions, workshops, and cinema!
Together with Julia and Rafael, We build the idea from the ground up, implementing new ways of looking and living the city. During this huge project we grew exponencially as cultural producers, designers and artists creating numerous connections within our hometown, unifiying the cultural community and consolidating the artistic scene in Viana do Castelo.
